Folie à Deux Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

The Alexander Valley’s warm climate, marine-cooled evenings and well-drained, volcanic hillside soils translate to rich wines with smooth, well-structured tannins. Following harvest and fermentation, aging in a combination of French and American oak barrels gives this Cabernet a plush, layered palate. Aromas of black currant, cherry, dark plum and violets are balanced by notes of sage, fennel, olives, black tea and tobacco—all layered over soft, fine-grained tannins.
